Teamspeak Rules

YOU MUST BE 18+ TO USE OUR TEAM SPEAK!

  • Moderate your own language – excessive use of profanity without reasonable excuse will not be tolerated and you will be removed from Team Speak.
  • We must insist that you refrain from comments which are racist, bigoted, or which otherwise offensively target a philosophy or religion. Hate propaganda is met with zero tolerance.
  • No Spamming in chat box
  • No Advertising of any kind
  • It is imperative you join the correct channel when in game, e.g. don’t join a BF3 game when in the ArmA 2 channel
  • Absolutely NO gaming in the Chill Zone / Away Channel
  • If moved to another channel by a Server Admin, stay in that channel until further notice (S.A.’s are unlikely to move you unless to talk to you privately)
  • Seek permission before entering HQ Channels
  • Excessive drunken behaviour will result in a 24 hour ban!
  • Your input into TS will be monitored. Joining TS and failing to participate in chat on a regular basis will be viewed as a breach of the Clan Rules, and will be dealt with accordingly.
  • Belching down ANY form of comms in-game chat or via team speak will result in a 24 hour ban! (Most of us wear headsets and we don't wish to hear you belching directly into our ears). Persistent offenders will be removed from team speak, the clan and the forums!!!

Forum Rules

1PARA IS A COMMUNITY. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PART BY VISITING THE FORUMS REGULARLY!

  • Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
    • The posting of pornography;
    • Discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive;
    • Excessive obscene or vulgar language;
    • Posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity;
    • Providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.
  • Avoid using profanity: Using partial masking (such as asterisks or punctuation marks) to bypass the profanity filter is prohibited and will result in the same action as if the actual word had been typed.
  • Please use English when posting on the forums: Please use English when posting on the forums as a courtesy to other players unless the forum channel is specifically created for discussions in another language.
  • Redundant threads will be deleted: As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
  • Spamming, bumping and pyramid quoting are prohibited: Spam is considered to be repetitive posting of the same topic or text or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited.
  • Trolling is prohibited: Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude and will be removed.
  • Ranting is prohibited: A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.
  • Be respectful of others at all times: The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.
  • Any other post, thread or image deemed offensive, demeaning or inappropriate and not covered by any of the above points will be also removed.
